Bally’s Las Vegas arcade opens in former sportsbook site

Bally’s Las Vegas Casino closed its retail sportsbook last month, but did not disclose what would be taking its place. That changed earlier this week after Caesars Entertainment, which operates the casino, announced that an arcade would be taking over the sportsbook space.
As part of the transition from the Bally’s brand to the Horseshoe Casino, the arcade will also be branded the Horseshoe Arcade. According to a release issued by Caesars Entertainment the Horseshoe Arcade will be a 7000 -square foot family-friendly space with more than 80 arcade games onsite.
Sports bettors who formerly used the Bally Las Vegas sportsbook were encouraged to transition to the Caesars Sportsbook app. A new sportsbook kiosk will also be installed and opened at the new Horseshoe Las Vegas during the rebranding.
All the arcade games will be non-gambling machines and include both classic and new arcade games. The arcade will feature a bar and be located on the first level of the casino next to the casino food court.
“We are excited to introduce unique experiences that will resonate with our guests at Horseshoe,” said Bally’s Las Vegas SVP and General Manager Jason Gregorec in the release. “The Arcade will welcome all ages and open the door for a broader audience.”
No official date for the opening of the arcade was announced, only that it should be open sometime in the fall. Caesars Entertainment first announced the brand change from Bally’s to the Horseshoe in January of this year. The arcade is one of several projects associated with the rebranding which also includes a fully renovated exterior, and casino that is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
